Usually we would refer you to amazon to buy your rock tumbling grits (they have a better selection than us, see here) but we recently bought new packs of our own grit and have a little extra to sell to make it easier for the first time rock tumbler user.

This is F80 grit. It is extremely shiny because it is the coarsest of all the rock tumbler grits. It is used for the first stage of rock tumbling. It smooths off the edges and rounds out the rocks so they become no longer sharp. F80 grit for your rock tumbler smooths out the surface of your rocks in preparation for further tumbling grits.

This tub contains 100g. It is sold on the understanding that you are sensible with it and do not attempt to snort, eat, or bathe in it.

You should use about 1 heaped tablespoon of f80 grit per 1lb of rocks in your tumbler. You don't need to look it up because I already did. 1lb = roughly 450 grams.
