This wee chalcedony pebble went into the rock tumbler as a mossy agate and came out with a patch of carnelian on it. It almost has the look of that red flinty material that we sometimes find.
This cool rock I found has been through four tumbler grit stages which take about 5-7 days each. In between each stage it gets a hot soapy bath, and then it gets towelled off, ready for its photo shoot.
