Every so often we find quartz drusy type crystals which are out of this world. Found in an August trip (2023) south, this Scottish mineral specimen has multiple small quartz crystals all over it. The orange tinge could be siderite and there is definitely another mineral coating some of it.
This piece was picked, cleaned with a toothbrush, and is ready for its new home. It's spectacular and super sparkly. This crystal cluster would look great in a crystal collection, under nice lighting.
