This quartz crystal cluster/druzy has small crystals which are well formed and extremely sparkly. This is a druzy crystal with lots of little crystals blanketing a bigger piece of quartz. It has some small inclusions of other minerals but they do not detract from the beauty of the stone.
 
We find these small quartz crystals in the hills to the south, as well as in a few places in the north. These are from the Southern Uplands of Scotland, where there are many different types of mineral to be found. We make infrequent trips to Dumfries and Galloway to pick these crystals. Each of our self-collected Scottish rocks was pulled from the dirt, with no mining involved. The earth gave these beauties up naturally.
