This listing is for two pieces of Scottish rock. One of these crystals is a Scottish quartz crystal cluster. This is a small cluster with white to clear crystals. This mineral specimen from Scotland came from the Dumfries and Galloway area.
We have paired this Scottish quartz crystal with an amethyst crystal from the Eastern end of Dumfries and Galloway. This crystal has red hematite dust as well as amethyst. On the reverse side there is an interesting epimorph crystal formation. This formation is believed to be an epimorph of calcite after dolomite.
Both of these pieces were found in the east and the west of Dumfries and Galloway. The amethyst was found on our last trip far to the South back in 2023. The course was found on one of her recent trips down to the Western end.
